Creating a new FrontPage Web using a FrontPage Website Template

Before You Start

Before anything else, you will need to create your new web using the website template you have purchased / downloaded.

Step 1: From the File menu, select "New", and then "Page or Web".
Step 2: A menu will open up on the right-hand side of your FrontPage window. There are various options on this menu - under "New from template", select "Web Site Templates...".
Step3: Select the template you have installed from the list presented to you. On the right, under "Options", type in or browse for the path where you would like to create your new FrontPage Web.
Step 4: To see all the pages in your new web, use the "View" menu and select "Folders". You will then see a list of pages.
Step 5: Double-click the homepage file - called "default.htm" or "index.htm". There you have the main page of your new web! Now start editing the text to suit your own requirements.
