FrontPage Website Templates: Tutorial 3
Duplicating an Infobox
Before You Start
Infoboxes are very useful for highlighting information of particular
interest to your visitors. The Clear Rust template makes use of a number of
infoboxes, i.e. the square boxes in the left and right columns.
This tutorial describes how to duplicate one of these infoboxes, which is
just a simple table, usually with only one or two cells.
| Assumptions: this tutorial assumes
that you have a web open, which has pages with infoboxes. Open a page
with an infobox in "Normal" view first. Step
1: Using your mouse, click anywhere within an infobox to place your
cursor inside the infobox. In this case we are going to duplicate the
Information infobox, and the cursor is arbitrarily placed inside the
address as shown by the arrow.
Step 2: Use the "Table" menu, "Select", "Table"
to select the whole infobox. |
 |
| Step 3: The infobox is now
highlighted. Right-click on the highlighted infobox, and select "Copy"
from the popup menu to copy the infobox. |
 |
| Step 4: Now position your cursor
(i.e. click with your mouse) in an empty space where you want your new
infobox to be placed. Step 5: Right-click
and select "Paste" from the popup menu to paste your new infobox. |
 |
| Step 6: You now have two identical
infoboxes. Edit the second one to put your own text in. |
